Whistler Blackcomb
37 days!
Finally. I'm out here in Seattle, WA for school. Only about 3 hours from Whistler, BC. And it opens in 37 days. The local riding in WA isn't near as good as what my brother Chris will be hittin back home in CO, but it'll have to do for 4 years. This season should be gnarly. So stoked.

The Season Is Here!!
Loveland is now open! I've been waiting for this all year. Also, I got my first glimpse of snow this morning. It made me want to steeze it up so bad.

Did You Know??
The first ever World Snurfing Championships were held in 1979 at the Pando Ski Lodge near Grand Rapids, Michigan. Jake Burton Carpenter (Founder of Burton) came from Vermont to compete with a board of his own design. Some of the other competitors were skeptical about letting him race with a modified board, so they created a modified event where Jake was the only entrant. This was considered the first snowboarding competition and is arguably the birth of competitive snowboarding. That is crazzyy! Jake is a balla for sure.
